Artist
Miyuiki Hashimoto is a Japanese artist who creates realistic animal miniatures. While she was working as a product designer, she was deeply moved by the wildlife she saw during a personal trip to Africa, which inspired her to start making miniature animals. She creates her sculptures based on the animals she observes in national parks, zoos, roadsides and streets around the world. She uses digital sculpting and a 3D printer to create her works, which are very detailed. The coloring is all done by hand, creating a unique work of art that looks like a painting in three dimensions.
